The Sterling Fire Department, in a creative spark, lit up firetruck and emergency vehicle light bars and synced the colorful patterns to “Carol of the Bells”, including a techno segment, to celebrate a “Fire Truck Christmas.”
The creative video, posted Nov. 30 on the department’s Facebook page and linked to YouTube, has had more than 600,000 views. Comments include: “Awesome…” “Creative…” and “You guys rock.”
The fire department has 22 “career” firefighters, nine part-time EMS staffers and eight volunteer firefighters to serve the city of 23,000 on Colorado’s Eastern Plains.
